Born and raised in North Carolina, and truly a “southern girl” at heart, I was grew up in the church and came to know the Lord Jesus at the early age of 8 years old. My desire to know Him and serve Him has grown continually through the years, and He has opened doors for me to be a part of starting a church, youth ministry, overseas and domestic missions, leading women’s bible studies, running my own small business and most importantly, becoming a serious student of the Scriptures. My husband Jason and I have three children, and we are blessed to be able to home school them.
When the invitation to be a part of Way of Life Coaching arrived, I didn’t know what to expect; I felt that I had nothing to lose by joining, and I had no expectations coming into the coaching relationship with Cheryl. I had no idea what this coaching thing was! All I knew was I respected Cheryl and the other ladies in the group, and the Lord was leading me to be a part. And then as the weeks passed and I began to deal with my communication, my attitudes, and my perspective of myself, others and my God, I felt blinders begin to come off. The coaching process was gentle, clear, and based on Scripture, and Cheryl was bold in challenging me. God opened my eyes to see that He created me to be the woman I am: not timid and quiet but bubbly; not embarrassed to search God’s Word for answers but free to find joy in understanding his Word and studying it; free to be in relationship with others with joy and not fear; and supported and protected by God in all I do because I am His!
Way of Life Coaching has been a vehicle for me to apply biblical truths to my life – thoughts, and actions! I am thrilled to now be partnering with Cheryl and Way of Life Coaching, using my gifts in administration to support her and enabling others to find God’s purpose for them in this biblical process.
