I was born and raised in North Carolina with eastern NC roots. In fact, I've been in Raleigh since I was 4 and only traveled to Chapel Hill for college, then came right back. I grew up as a church-attender in a formal, stoic church but never really knew the person of Jesus until I met Him through a fellowship group in high school. The Lord protected me in college by placing me near numerous other Christian women in my dorm, with a fellowship group meeting weekly in my basement. Through those 4 years of college I came to understand what it meant to follow Jesus and have a relationship with Him.

I was blessed to find Crossroads Fellowship soon after graduating from college and returning to Raleigh, and have been here ever since. I even found my husband in the CRF singles' group. We were further blessed with 2 wonderful boys.

About 3 years ago, I decided it would be fun to make some earrings to match a friend's purse. So began my business, DeeSigns. I have been handcrafting sterling silver, gemstone and pearl jewelry ever since. I enjoy creating something of beauty that makes women happy, and am thrilled to partner with Cheryl and WOL in developing a beautiful sterling silver and Swarovski crystal Object Lesson bracelet. It is our prayer that this bracelet is a reminder of where you have come from, where you are, and where God is leading you - the Promised Land.
